The Falcons Moves into 3rd Place for the 1st time this seaaon with a 5-2 Victory over the Saints! Falcons have won 5 straight, and 7 of their last 8 games.
Lorne Donnelly (#18) led the Falcons with a Hattrick & 1 assist, and Saverio Romano (#4) had 2 Goals 2 assists.
Saverio Romano opened the scoring at 12:49 of the first, assist from Lorne Donnelly.
Lorne Donnelly added 2 more in the second; one of them was scored on a nifty pass from Saverio Romano.
Saverio Romano gave the Falcons a commanding 4-0 lead 1:09 into the third period. However Jerry Mariano (#76) scored 2 quick goals for the Saints with 8 minutes left to make for an interesting finish.
Lorne Donnelly completed his first TPWHL Hattrick to seal the win.
The Season Series finishes tied 2-2.
There are only 3 games left in the regular season, playoff spots still up for grabs. Should be exciting!
