The Saints led by Brandy Edwards took
to the floor against the Mustangs on Saturday.
Brandy opened the scoring at 11
minutes of the first period and would add a second goal 1 minute later to take
a 2-0 lead.
The second period was evenly matched
with Nicole Neeson having a few breakaways for the Mustangs which would just
fall short of their mark. Brandy would
follow up with a few shots of her own just barely missing the net.
The third period opened up with Mustangs Mike
Iacovone scoring at 1:27 of the period. Brandy
would then answer back with another goal of her own before the Mustangs added 2
more goals before falling short of a comeback to the Saints who scored 2 more
times in the third.
